JESSI SUGG, MOTR/L

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY DEPARTMENT OWNER

Jessi is one of the owners of Kids Therapy Spot and the owner of the Occupational Therapy Department (OT 4 Kidz, LLC). Jessi joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in December of 2013 and became a co-owner of KTS and the owner of the Occupational Therapy Department in March 2026. She is a treating Occupational Therapist at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Starkville and Golden Triangle Autism Center. Jessi graduated from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center with her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in May 2010. Following graduation, she gained experience in inpatient adult rehab and outpatient pediatrics before transitioning to a pediatric hospital specializing in childhood cancer treatments in Memphis, TN. Jessi now specializes in Sensory Integration and Primitive Reflex Integration in addition to holding a certification in Therapeutic Listening.

BRITNEY TRANUM, MOTR/L

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY DEPARTMENT SCHOOL PROGRAMS DIRECTOR

Britney joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in September of 2011. She is an Occupational Therapist at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Starkville, MS and in the Starkville public school system. Britney graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in May 2008. Following graduation, she was employed with an exceptional children’s hospital in Memphis, TN. Britney has practiced in the areas of NICU, pediatric acute care and pediatric outpatient. She enjoys treating children of all ages and working closely with families to provide optimal care and education to maximize each child’s level of function.

CLAIRE SHEPHERD, MOTR/L

Claire joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in April of 2017. She is the primary Occupational Therapist at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Columbus, MS.

 

 

 

JOY MARVIN, MOTR/L

Joy joined the Kids Therapy Spot team in August of 2017. She is the primary Occupational Therapist at Meridian Pediatric Extended Care and Lauderdale county schools. She graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Joy has worked in a variety of settings including adult inpatient rehab, swing bed, pediatric outpatient, and was trained and worked in the NICU at a hospital in Alabama. 

ALAINA ULMER, MOTR/L

Alaina joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in June of 2019. She is an Occupational Therapist at Pediatrust Pediatric Extended Care in Columbus, MS and both Kids Therapy Spot clinics. Alaina graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with her Master of Science degree in May 2019. 

 

MARY GRACE CRENSHAW, COTA/L

Mary Grace joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in May of 2022. She is an Occupational Therapy Assistant at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Columbus, MS and one day a week at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Starkville, MS.

Mary joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in April of 2022. She is an Occupational Therapy Assistant at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Starkville, MS.

Ketrina joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in June 2024. She is an Occupational Therapist at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Starkville, MS.

Luke joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in June 2025. He is an Occupational Therapist at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Starkville, MS.

Brooke joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in July 2026. She is an Occupational Therapist Assistant at the Kids Therapy Spot clinic in Starkville, MS.

 

 

 

KATE ANDERSON, MOTR/L

Kate joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in November of 2015 as a full time OT and over the years, she has moved to a part-time OT at the Kids Therapy Spot Columbus clinic and PRN OT for both outpatient clinics. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2008. She obtained her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. Kate enjoys treating children of all ages and has experience treating a variety of ages and diagnoses.

Allison joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in . She is working as an Occupational Therapist in the Starkville public schools through Kids Therapy Spot.

Corley joined the team at Kids Therapy Spot in . She is working as a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant at the Kids Therapy Spot clinics in Starkville and Columbus.

MICHELLE MILLER, OTR/L

OT 4 Kidz FOUNDER

Michelle was one of the owners of Kids Therapy Spot from the very beginning and the founder of the Occupational Therapy Department (OT 4 Kidz, LLC). Michelle received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Eastern KY University in December 1991 and moved to Starkville, MS with her husband Darren, in January 1992. Throughout her career, she practiced Occupational Therapy in the Golden Triangle area and while she worked in numerous settings over the years, she always loved working with children, whether in outpatient, inpatient, home or school setting. Her passion was working with children who have complex neurodevelopmental and/or genetic disorders, where she used a variety of treatment techniques and her years of experience. Her specialty and interest was working with children who have Cortical Vision Impairment. Michelle was an integral part of Kids Therapy Spot and she is missed by everyone but she is thriving in her retirement!
